DDJ-800 là Controller 2 kênh đầu tiên có màn hình LCD độ phân giải cao, Color On Jog Display hiển thị các thông tin như thời gian phát lại, BPM, waveforms ở trung tâm của mỗi Jog wheel dùng để tham khảo nhanh, tăng độ chính xác cho phần biểu diễn.
Ngoài ra DDJ - 800 còn hỗ trợ cả 4 deck , đồng thời tất cả các nút, núm và nút gạt trên bộ điều khiển được sắp xếp và sử dụng giống với các nút trên thiết lập CDJ-2000NXS2 và DJM-900NXS2
